This practical guide demystifies the often complex rules and procedures of the CCMA, Labour Court, and Labour Appeal Court, providing plain language explanations and tips to help employers, employees, and representatives navigate the dispute resolution process.
Written by an experienced practitioner, it unpacks the frequently amended CCMA Rules, including the latest 2023 updates, as well as the proposed new Labour Court Rules, saving users time and avoiding costly mistakes. With a focus on simplifying rather than comprehensively referencing, it aims to increase understanding and effective participation in proceedings for all parties involved.
The intention is to complement existing reference works by offering insights and guidance in an accessible format for both first-time and experienced users of the CCMA and Labour Courts. An indispensable handbook for anyone facing the daunting task of resolving labour disputes through South Africa's legal processes.
