Darcy graduated with a B.A., LL.B. (University of Cape Town); LL.D. (Leiden). He is currently Emeritus Professor, Faculty of Law at the University of the Western Cape. He also sits as chairperson of the Local Organising Committee, XXI World Congress of the International Society for Labour and Social Security Law in Cape Town. Darcy is well-published and has edited and co-authored Labour Relations Law: A Comprehensive Guide and Labour Law through the Cases. He also brings with him years of practical experience.
