This book, The Environment, Critical Policies and Legal Frameworks: An African Perspective is dedicated to promoting knowledge and awareness in all areas of international and domestic environmental law practice. The Environment, Health and Safety Law (EHS) Committee is proud to support this €˜one-stop-shop' book where legal practitioners, academics and students can learn about the existing continental, regional, and national legal frameworks and policies on environmental issues in Africa. It also provides African and non-African legal practitioners with the requisite knowledge to provide legal services to their clients on issues about the environment in Africa and hopefully spur additional discussion on strengthening the available African environmental legal frameworks.
